This feature was very important to implement due to the recent implementation of the FLSA rule that required many employees to be transitioned from the monthly to the biweekly pay cycle. Here’s the link for the Secondary Supervisor procedure. Please use the Secondary Supervisor process to approve a timesheet that may require a different Supervisor from the Primary Supervisor. The timesheets will be routed to the Primary Supervisor only. Biweekly Employee Time Entry: 5:00pm, last Friday. This feature will eliminate the manual tracking of hours worked and/or absence from work when the employee moves from one pay cycle to the other. Starting with the 11/20/16-12/03/16 biweekly pay period and the 11/16/16-12/15/16 monthly pay period, an employee who transitions to either pay cycle will be issued two timesheets, one for the monthly pay cycle and the other for the biweekly pay cycle. As you may know, the Time & Attendance Reporting System (TARS) can only issue one timesheet per employee at a time even when the employee transitions from monthly to biweekly pay cycle and vice versa.
